A Moment in the air,
Valentine’s love to be captured everywhere.
Candlelit dinners and flowers red,
These fleeting snapshots of delight,
Stories whispered to our future kin.

Cellphones ready, capturing light,
From the rising sun to stars sparkling at night.
Every touch, each picnic, the memories we hold near,
These memories are ours, to keep or to hold,
To share or treasure, for the future to behold.

Laughter and stories, so many untold,
We someday look at these with pride,
Reminded of love, present by our side.
A fleeting instance, never repeated, but so true,
As years go by, growing old,
Love is a dance, sometimes a duel,
Share these special moments,
With family or friends,
Partner, parent, or child.

These memories will still shine,
More precious than worlds of riches and gold.
Memories that keep hope alive,
When everything feels cold.

So take the time, improve each shot,
With skill and focus, the perfect crop.
Do some editing to make it pop,
For these pictures of love, they deserve our best.
A tribute to February, to love, and to rest.

But never get so busy with what’s there,
That you forget to treasure and love,
To appreciate the present, the moments you share.
For the reality of it is only a fleeting affair.
