During our Swakopmund car repair saga, destiny guided us to “Two Beards and a Saint,” the mechanic’s coffee shop suggestion. What a find! The coffee was heavenly, and my partner raved about the cheesecake endlessly. Meanwhile, I dove into a French Toasted Croissant with eggs, bacon, and honey, but secretly wished I’d opted for the cheesecake.

After our delightful indulgence, a restroom conundrum struck. Swakopmund’s public restrooms demanded cash, and I was changeless. Thankfully, a kind coffee shop employee granted me free access.

In a quirky turn of events, to show my thanks, he asked for a post-bathroom photo. That moment sparked a spontaneous street photoshoot for five minutes. No pro gear, just a casual exchange that led to a few quirky shots under the blazing desert sun. They might not have impressed a well-known photographer, but both Lucas and I found them amusing. Who knew a bathroom dilemma could birth creative moments?

Kudos to Lucas for his good-natured spontaneity and for adding a dash of photo fun to my day. Cheers and thank you, buddy!
