Agricultural Eligibility and Nominations
All workers in the agriculture sector are eligible to participate in the Overberg Agricultural Worker 2023 competition. An agricultural worker is defined as any person who actively contributes to the farming industry. To enter the competition, individuals must be nominated by their employer, management, farmworkers' committee, or fellow employees.
Agricultural Categories
Participants can choose from a diverse range of categories that represent various roles within the farming industry.
Whether nominees specialize in animal production, processing, or hold a position in social development, there is a category that suits their expertise. Here are some of the categories available:
- General Worker
- Driver
- Administrative Staff
- Technical Operator

Prizes
Outstanding performance deserves recognition. The winners will be rewarded as follows:
- 3rd Place: R1,200
- 2nd Place: R1,500
- Winner: R2,200
- Best Potential: R1,000
- Regional Winner: R2,500
