Goodbye to An Old Friend: Sigma 18-250 mm 1;3.5-6.

Broken camera lens abandoned in desert sand, ereded by sea salt and desert sand.

So, my long-time and constant companion, the Sigma 18-250 mm f/3.5-6.3, has finally departed into the land of broken lenses and scattered parts.

Thank you, my dear friend, for your loyalty, companionship, and the thousands of exposures you captured by my side over the last 5 years. Your service has been invaluable, and I'll truly miss you, along with the thousands of rands I paid for you.

Sadly, Sigma succumbed to the elements after an accidental immersion in the cold, salty waters of the Atlantic Ocean during a shoot. Despite my best efforts to salvage it, an autopsy became the only way to bid farewell… Sniff

Rest in peace in your final resting place, Sigma.
