An Introduction to Photo Restoration Software Remini
I mostly use Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Skylum Luminar for photo post-processing, post-editing and colour grading.
Restoring old family photos and occasionally trying to recover out-of-focus photos from special events for clients is time-consuming when doing it in Photoshop. Somebody on Facejunk recommended I test Remini out.
Remini is only available for mobile systems, although it can be run on an android emulator on a pc. It is pretty awesome in adding a bit of sharp detail to out of focus shots and restoring old family photos with a pretty high success rate. This is also the platform that the MyHeritage site’s photo restoration tools is using as a platform. Remini also have a host of other tools at the user’s disposal.
Download the software and try it out, especially if there is old family photos that need some fixing up. Unfortunately the image resolution is not huge when it gets downsaved from Remini, but for digital use it should be suffice. Remini is a monthly subscription of R89,99 per month, but on the free version you can enhance 5 photos per day, and off course, it has ads.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to gain anything from this recommendation as they do not do affiliations, and I obviously won't have any people requesting photo restorations from me unless they want it done professionally, but the software is pretty dang cool.
