Join our team at Community Chest/DCAS and make a difference in your community as an EPWP Intern. The Western Cape Government is offering a contract period from date of assumption of duty until 31 March 2024.

Minimum Requirements:

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18–35 years

Key Performance Areas:

• Filing and Shelf reading of books; General Administration & Coordination duties, report writing Asset verification, Supply chain & HR Assistance; Messenger & Delivery duties, Research Assistance Sorting scanning, unpacking of library material; Create records and list on SLIMS computer program
• Assisting the regional librarian with stock management in region and affiliated libraries
• Maintenance of library material and equipment
• Assisting the regional librarian in providing of information and training to staff of affiliated libraries
• Ad hoc duties in other sections of library Service

Competencies/Skills:

General Administration; Good communication skills (verbal & written); Computer proficiency.

Offer:

Stipend between R154,00 and R231,00 per day.
