Paws-R-Us (SA) is a registered Non-Profit Company dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned and surrendered dogs since 2011. Despite limited resources, their dedicated team goes above and beyond to make a positive impact.
The organization believes every dog deserves a loving home. Your help is needed now more than ever! Time is running out.
The organization is driven by a dedicated director and a passionate volunteer group. These individuals don their superhero capes – well, maybe it’s more like aprons at fundraising markets – every weekend, to raise funds for the animals in their care. Juggling full-time jobs during the week and then dedicating their weekends to the cause? That’s pure dedication!
There are a multitude of ways to get involved with Paws-R-Us, and it doesn’t have to involve wearing a cape (although, they wouldn’t say no to a superhero themed fund-raiser!).
While the markets offer some delightful finds, the real heart of Paws-R-Us lies with the dogs themselves.
Whether you’re a seasoned dog owner or simply looking to give back to the community, Paws-R-Us has a place for you. Consider adopting , fostering a dog, volunteering as a dog walker, or donating to support their cause.
Paws-R-Us is always in need of your support; but presently, they are racing against time to foster and keep the Animal Shelter going after the owner of the ground where they were operating sold it off. Here are a few ways you can make a difference. They have until 1 December 2024 to rehome their remaining dependant furries unless new housing or adopted homes can be secured.
Show Your Love with a Paws-R-Us Special Thoughts Hamper: The creative volunteers from Paws-R-Us have assembled a selection of thoughtful little gifts combined in a little bag of spells to guide you, protect you, and attract some good fortune to you, perfect for any occasion. These little bundles of love are a great way to show someone you care while supporting the rescue.
The poem that is included with the hamper weaves a little incantation of protection, and bind the elements of the magic that goes in these little sachets, and explains what they represent.
A Marble … for the days when you have lost yours.
A Piece of String … to hold it together when everything seems to be falling apart.
A Heart … to remind you that somebody loves you.
A Coin … to that you will never be completely broke.
A Flower … to remind you to stop and smell the flowers sometimes.
A Guardian Angel … to always watch over you.
Paws-R-Us is currently facing a critical challenge. Their shelter dogs need new homes by December 1st 2024 due to upcoming facility needs.
Despite limited resources, Paws-R-Us has been tirelessly caring for abandoned and surrendered dogs in South Africa. Unfortunately, the kennels they have been using will not be available for long anymore, and they are unable to relocate all the Furries in their care. Your support is vital to help these furry friends find loving homes, giving them a new leash on life.
Remember, even the smallest act of kindness can have a ripple effect. Become part of the Paws-R-Us legacy and be part of the difference in the lives of these remarkable four legged superheroes.
Share as wide as possible to beat crunch time. You can make a world of difference, one wag at a time.
